The art of gesture

Evoke offers courses in drawing, sculpture,movement and observation of gesture. These courses include working with the voice, the theatre mask, poetry and the spoken word and the artistic mediums of drawing in charcoal, pencil, ash and sand, the metamorphosis of form and clay modelling with a view to understanding sculpture and the plastic arts in general. This work of abstract and figurative is also combined with direct contact to nature through the opening of the 5 senses. All the work is focused into the sense of touch which is fundamental to the understanding of gesture.

This work is open to anyone interested in the arts. Whether a practising professional or simply a beginner. The work is about personal development and not competitive achievement.

We are always on a path. If we want to arrive , all we need to do is stop and see where we are. then act by starting up along the path again.

Wednesday 18.30-20 hs

Friday 18.30-20hs

These classes are particular and are flexible to your artistic needs.
